Why has my page rank gone down?

I don't understand what exactly happened. My PR gone down from 4 to 3. We are running a web hosting site and i had made lot of ON page changes in last 2 months. Besides we are regularly building quality Dofollow backlinks.

Does over modification of ON page codes can lower down PR ?

Suggestions are welcome for improving page rank. Please suggest particularly ON page SEO.

Wat about your partner site Elitebusinessmedia. Does its page rank go up? If so then this is because of your hosting site.

Always keep in mind that On-page factors doesn't count in page rank calculation. Number of do-follow links you get and number of no-follow links you give outside alone counts. Just check it now, where you done wrong.
