Bounce rate (sometimes confused with exit rate)[1] is an Internet marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and "bounce" (leave the site) rather than continue viewing other pages within the same site.

False. It's not a minimum time, he can be there for hours, even if he only looks at one page.

Default Bounce Rate

Hi everyone,
The bounce rate is defined as the number of visitors who bounce, or leave without visiting another page on the site. Bounce rates are expressed in percent.
Example: A particular PPC campaign delivered 100 visitors to a particular landing page yesterday, of which 75 went to other pages while 25 did not. The bounce rate was thus 25%.
