The XML site map is a file that list the URLs for the website. XML sitemap generally use for search engines.

HTML site maps enable you to list all your web pages in a structured format allowing the urls to be more easily submitted to search engines and providing a convenient way for users to navigate your site.
XML is a more structured and strict markup language compared to HTML that allowed users to create their own definitions and modularized code.

Xml are planned for search engines and also it is useful them index the suitable pages from particular sites. They are essentially an xml file that has all the webpages in the website listed in the suitable order with the essential detail marked to it.

HTML sitemaps are essentially html files that have the whole pages of a website listed in the correct classify with the needed details marked to it.
