Domain extension Has effect on ranking of website on search engine ?
Hi All,
anybody can tell me that Is Domain Extension ( .com, .net, .org, .in ) Has any effect on ranking of website on search engine ? or they don't have any role in SEO of website?

Hi,
Yes its effect on Google ranking. if you target globally choose .com domain. you will get better results.

.com extension in domain used for globally search
.in extension in domain used for locally search(country wise)
.net extension in domain used for network oriented sites such as internet service providers.
.org extension in domain used by non-profit or trade organizations

Besides effects on local search results, they don't have many differences. Nowadays, people use almost every extensions, especially those who like EMD, so it's not that important.

Yes, Domain Extension has effective for the ranking of website. these are
(.com, .in, .org) extension in domain affective for the searching in search engine.

Yes, they do have effect on google ranking. The sites with .edu, .org, .gov are of higher value than others.
