Importance of Backlinks

Backlinks have become so important to the scope of Search Engine Optimization, that they have become some of the main building blocks to good SEO. Backlinks are links that are directed towards your website. Also knows as Inbound links (IBL's). The number of backlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website. Backlinks are important for SEO because some search engines, especially Google, will give more credit to websites that have a good number of quality backlinks, and consider those websites more relevant than others in their results pages for a search query.

Building quality backlinks is extremely important to Search Engine Optimization, and because of their importance, it should be very high on your priority list in your SEO efforts.

A lot of people are actually doing this to increase their post count, and also I was thinking if they are automated bots or something like that..

Backlinks are the factors that helps you to gain your Page Rank. Doing link exchange, one way linking you can receive a good amount of visitors, helps in SERP.

Backlinks are basic stuff but it's amazing how many people are still out there getting tons of garbage links into their sites. Spend time building quality links from pages that are somewhat related to what your page is about and it will be time well spent.

What is important for you, PR or traffic? For me, traffic is the most important. If you are selling advertising space on your site then PR is much more important there.

Exactly Pr And Alexa ranking Are worthless For you till you are not getting enough traffic on your site ... i always give importance to traffic And SE Ranking nor to Pr ... yeah pr is important when you are going to Sell your links and want to exchange links with other webmasters ... otherwise pr is worthless ...
