Follow or No Follow – Confuting

Hi, I have a Confutation, how to be familiar with if a website has "Do-Follow" or not? For me this is significant if you want to do blog commenting. It will be a waste of time if you leave a comment for a blog/website that does not have "Do-Follow", any ideas? Thanks

You can use following two options to verify that the blog is no follow or do follow :

1) Select the link on the blog, right click on it and then select "View Selection Source" from the menu. If it will show "nofollow” attribute then consider that blog as no follow.

2) Use quirk search status tool which highlights no follow links on the blog with the help of selecting "highlight nofollow links" option from that tool.

You can install Dofollow extension in Google chrome easily and check without any problem Do-follow or no-follow links.

Mostly blog commenting are Nofollow links but if you are doing it for generating traffic then you can keep continue blog commenting but don't think that it will help in getting ranking for your keywords.
There are many Firefox addons to check a link that it is dofollow or nofollow like dofollow/nofollow links, quick search status.

According to me you can download search status toolbar and install in your PC. Then easily check website have do follow or not. If you do blog comment then its really best but when you use any blog firstly find out your website related blog and also those blog have high PR and do follow links. You will get backlinks and as well as good traffic. If you do comment on no follow sites, i think it's not waste of time. But try to find out do follow sites and then start comment on it.

Yes! this would be good option to check dofollow or nofollow.

You can an addon called "Search Status" to your firefox browser, which help you to identify no follow links by highlighting them in pink color.

Blog comments on blogs are Look for engines hyperlinks but if you are doing it for visitors generation then you can keep proceed leaving comments on blogs but don't think that it will help in getting position for your key terms. Do-follow means that you allows search engine spiders to crawl your link and index it.

No-follow means search engine spiders don't consider you link on a webpage. so you don't get the link juice.

Its always better to look for backlinks from both nofollow and dofollow blogs. Many popular blogs has only nofollow links but offers some credibility and generates traffic.

I think you can add SEO for firefox add-on to clear the attribute of dofollow or nofollow. That helps you to find out the links which you gain are nofollow or dofollow.

There are some reasonable differences between do-follow and no-follow. If you are a brand, ignore no follow and do post your comments. Do-follow is beneficial for web promotion.
