No Directory Submissions are not well enough to get rank in SERP's, yes you can say it'll helpful to get rank with other activities as well like Forums, Articles, Blogs, Social Bookmarking and more. Try these as well to be in SERP's.

1- Forum Posting on high PR website
2- Press Release
3- Article Writing

Oh yeah what keywords are you ranking for?
How competitive are they?
Can you back up your word? if you are one of the leading SEO companies I would hope you've got some hard to rank keywords showing up in the SERP's...
