Is this a google dance or my website has been panelized?

I have worked on a new website in the past 3 months, the new website targeting just 1 keyword, not very competitive. After 2 months' work, the keyword ranked on 3rd page, #26, then at the end of last month it jumped to 2nd page, ranked #11, I was so happy for the good rank, but yesterday when I checked the keyword's rank again, it has gone, out of 1000, and when I site the domain, the homepage ranked #3, does that mean my website has been panelized? Or it's just a normal Google dance? The rank will back?

No this is not a penalization just hold you search ranking because you have more and more optimization for new domain.

And you know well Google don’t allow new domain to rank well in first pages with low quality. Just wait you ranking comeback again.
