Hi i am new in SEO. Just want to know that getting ranks in top 10 keywords in google will bring traffic to website?

Ranking on any top 10 position in Google SERP helps to generate traffic for your site. But high traffic can be achieved only when your site ranks at top most position.

It's depends on your top 10 position.
Here I am sharing simple example
Your keyword is mobile app development
Globle volume of this keyword is 25000 and your position on google with this keywords is 5.
In first position get 100% traffic
In second position get 80% traffic
In third position get 70% traffic
In fourth position get 60% traffic
In fifth position get 50% traffic. so you can get 50% traffic of volume.

Yes that's true that if your keyword is in top 10 position than you can definitely get enough traffic but for that you will need to select the right keyword which is search able.
