Back links or content?

What is important for getting better search engine ranking Content or back links? My experience is that i submit quality content many times in my website but it goes not get better position in search engine with out any back links.

Great content is definitely the foundation of a good website but you need to back it up with quality backlinks as well.

I f you don't have quality content in the site. there is not use of backlinks for the site.

in seo , a quality and good content makes a website attractive.the back links also need to get good traffic and good page rank.the content should uniqueand back links are also very important.

I think now days google is to much concern about on-page contents then backlinks. The excellence of your content may lead your site to "forwarding links" from other resource sites. This will also grab people's attention and eventually bring them back again or share your site to others. Always keep your keyword phrases in mind in writing the content of your site. So as to volume, the more facts you share, the better it would sound to the readers.

Both are equally important. Back-links help you to get traffics and improve your ranking. But if you get traffic and your site content fails to stick visitors to it than it contributes in bounce rate and this is never good for your site ranking.

Very high quality content then no back link are needed as people will link to you naturally. For other content you need to do both : link building and content.

Without contents, back link is meaningless. High quality contents help to attract its visitors. By back link visitors can come on your web site but if your web site has not quality content then visitors don't want to stay there and never come again. so both are very important.
