What has been your Biggest Mistake in Optimising a Website for Search Engines?

Nowadays every one is trying to optimize their own websites without the full algorithm of search engines in their mind.

What do you think that a biggest mistake while optimization of a website?

Hi,
I think fresh content is matter a lot with right keywords and url structure in optimize a website in search engine.

I used wrong URL for a keyword and because of that the rank dropped to 70 and it took a long time to move up in SERP.

Well it was not for my site actually, I was working for two client site and while I was doing press release submission, I altered their url

, it was a real bad day for me!

My huge mistake is i can't prepare work plan for website.

the ideal and relevant link structure of website is one of important point but we don't care about link structure and also relevancy of links at web pages content.

next one big mistake is always doing black hat for instant search engine ranking.

i think it is the selection of keyword that is the biggest mistake that we usualy do for optimizing the web

No one knows ideas about Google back links. We just know that better link building better results. So, we always try to focus on best link building practices

There are no such things called mistakes but once I used too much flash on my site. It looked good but it was not user friendly.
