Google shows different result on different results per page?
Everyone knows that Google gives option of results per page like 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 & 100 but anyone ever heard that Google shows different result in every different result per page.
Normally I am using 100 results per page and on this page mine one keyword is showing on 11th position but when see the 10 results per page the keyword is ranked on 107 position.
How is this possible? I never saw this kind of difference in my career.
Anyone have any idea for this issue? Right now I am checking all the backlinks.
Google has numerous data centers and there are many factors (one of which is search traffic) that determine in which data center your query will be sent.
When you request a 100 -results-per-page display, your query is sent to a DC that is not frequently updated (since most web users do not access search results uptill 100th result). Google says it's pretty normal to see a difference in search results depending on which data center handles your query.
