Sitemaps have been stressed for a long time now, yes, it is true that you need to have a good sitemap to help you improve the ranking of your website. But how to design a sitemap for a complicated website with thousands of pages, is it possible to include each page in the site map or just include them under one single title. What to do?

There are 2 options for deigning the site map. You can either create a single site map or multiple. For multiple, you can create site maps according to the catagory wise or date wise. Or you can also choose limit of the links in the site map.

A site with 1000 pages are not complicated sites. A sitemap can have only 50,000 urls. The URL's exceeding 50,000 should be included in another sitemap.

As said above, you can create multiple sitemaps category wise or you can create a single sitemap with up to 50,000 urls.
