No snippet in SERP

I don't find snippet in SERP for one of my site. No description and URL available in SERP. I can see only the title of my site in SERP. What may be the problem?

I think you should check through Google webmaster tools.

Had you given your website, it would have been easier to tell.
Check your robot.txt file as you might have blocked spiders from crawling your website
Usually this code blocks all spiders from crawling your website
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
