Why twitter is not better than facebook?

Hello friends,

Recent times we hear that twitter is far behind from the facebook as users point of view, chating options and traffic matters why ?

because they're different in nature. Twitter is basically a microblogging service while Facebook is a more comprehensive service whose essential function is social networking.

Both are not comparable! It entirely depends on you as to which suits your needs best! I prefer doing both as Google counts data from both Twitter and Facebook while ranking.
-Twitter is more of a micro blogging site and the interface is entirely different from Facebook.

-Facebook appeals more to users as a medium to connect with friends with a blend of features like email, instant messaging, image and video sharing, etc but twitter is equally addictive once you get the hang of tweeting.

-Twitter is kind of “instantaneous” as compared to Facebook.

-Facebook ads are great way to promote services while twitter has not been used for monetization purposes yet.

chatting options? twitter was never made for chatting. Traffic matters, I think they are the same. Maybe the reason why you think that twitter lags facebook is because fb is more interactive so it looks like it has more users.

I think Both are equal and i think Facebook is better then tweeter. Both are the social media sites by which we can promote our business over the network.

Facebook and twitter are completely different.Twitter is just a micro blogging site while Facebook is a full fledged social networking site. So no comparisons.

Sure Twitter and facebook are different.
And if I personaly understand the meaning and the idea of Facebook, but the main aim in Twitter seems to me dim and suspicious as well.

Around 600 million use Facebook whereas Twitter has around 200 million users. In that sense, Facebook is more widely connected and international than Twitter. Facebook is for close family and friends, whereas Twitter is to follow those people whom you want to be friends with or share some interests alike. Both Facebook and Twitter have their own fan following, each is competitive for the services they provide.

The statistics prove that why Facebook is so popular. They both have their different images like in Facebook you can create huge fan network and share your interests and promote your sites too, whereas Twitter is micro-blogging service and you have to follow people to make a huge network over there.

on facebook you will get Hugh space to market your site.But on twitter it's very less because twitter is micro-blogging. but any way twitter is best in my point of view.thanks.

In fact, at twitter you can only display your messages. Direct conversation is not possible. It is for updating your position or your thoughts, your problem to your followers or your friends. Whereas Face book is multi dimensional social networking website with huge opportunity to be busy.

Actually in Facebook we can shair vedio,photo and can chat with each other. Both are good networking sites.

The fact that Facebook has more users than twitter makes it superior than the latter. BUt they actually have differences in their features, it is up to people which of the two suits the best.

this is completely true,just try to ask yourself,is it troublesome to use two at the same time?for me I think so.its obvious that facebook owns more users than twitter does

They both are different and Facebook have PR 5 and twitter have PR 9 and there page rank is also effect on your website.
