Wordpress vs. Blogger in terms of SEO

I have a domain name. Now, I don't want to invest it in a hosting for Wordpress (if it's not too necessary). If I install the custom domain in Blogger, will I lag behind in terms of SEO? What do you think? Which place is the best if I wp or blogr if I own my domain name which is keyword rich, I believe?

It would be highly appreciable if you reply me quick!

They both are valuable in terms of SEO and operating over the net because when you search the net, you will find thousands of blogs in each system and they get accessed, crawled and indexed by search engines pretty easily and very fast but in terms of maintenance and moderation, WordPress can usually be a better choice because you will be provided with lots of plug-ins, add-ons and scripts to install on your website very easily.

Just search the net and look for free tools which have been offered by expert programmers and web developers, the stuff that can be installed on blogs very quickly and sometimes even through doing mouse clicks, your WordPress portal will get updated with the materials very swiftly. Tasks like creating backups of data and restoring the information too could be very easy while handling blogs powered by the popular WordPress package.

Depends upon who is maintaining the blog as well. If you are not really a techno person then i would suggest blogger otherwise wordpress is undoubtedly is the best of the lot.

As my mind wordpress is better then blogger for blog hosting. Wordpress is the best for search engine optimization.

It is not question of platform but what are you going to provide for this website. Content is what counts, technology is a secondary issue... I personally prefer wordpress but if you want to have very simple and fast to maintain blog than blogger should do...
