Hello,
Google has released a major algorithm change that targets websites offer short levels of unique content or content that has been worn or copied from other websites.

If I'm not wrong you are talking about the panda algorithm update.

Yes content is what google provides highest priority.

Well it has been like 6 months since Panda was first introduced by Google. So if you have an issue with your content you propably suffered already.
