How to check the backlink of a website

Can any body tell me how to check the backlink.

Is there any sites or tools.

Please suggest me so that i can check the improvement of the website.

i used to visit that site but not getting the appropriate value... The blue backlink checker is also not working... now the yahoo site explorer is also not working properly

Strange as to why your Yahoo site explorer is not working. I tried using it and it is working properly. You can also go for Google webmaster tools.

Try using open site explorer for checking backlinks. Do not go for buggy backlink checkers as they never give you the right information.

I prefer using “keyword country” for checking my own backlinks as well as my competitors backlinks

Are you try backlinkwatch. Its free online tool. Yes, it is slowly, but at least gave you good result.

Type Link:URL in Google to check Google back links or you can use backlink watch(dot)com.

There is really very easy rule to follow to check you back links just login at your Google webmaster tool and get details of your incoming link. Its easy and better to check back links of your site or you can also use yahoo explorer to see back links for any site

There are many online website offering back link checking facilities. I have doing SEO for websites since 3 years now and I always prefer using back link watch to check my back links. Even Now days I am working some other idea which will help you people to check your back links whether they are still working or not.

You will simply enter the URL of webpage with your inbound link and script will check whether still there is inbound link or have been removed.

You can check back link directly through search engine. You will have to type Link:your domain full address on search bar. It will show your back-link according to search engine. On the other hand you can use seo tools to check back-link.
