Google offering APIs for Offline Web Applications

This would open up a new set of web applications which would work without the network also.

Getting more closer in experience to Desktop applications.

Ya I recently read this news in a daily newspaper,
Its ultimate aim is to attack the microsofts products !
It is under construction now , and the google programmers have been developing over a long period, so we shall expect a new office in future !
