Help with SCILAB GUI

I have to make a GUI to result in Scilab with 2 pushbutton edit text and edit text first serve to write the function, the second will edit texts to show the derivation and the pushbutton to calculate the derivative; I have a big problem because it does not function as defined in the GUI.

I would greatly appreciate your help.
