Both languages VB and C++ are the User friendly and easy to develop any Software. But now a days C++ is more effective because it is mostly used.

C++ is better then VB, C++ easy to learn and use if you have knowledge of C++ than you can easily learn Java, JavaScript and PHP.

Both the languages are very user-friendly but I find C++ more better than visual Basic. Also for developing purpose,you can opt for C++.

VB and C++ and totally different language
IF you want to develop desktop application then Vb will be easy and if you want to develop and hardware related application then C++
