New To PHP

Hey Friends i am willing to learn PHP so thought to start o new topic and get all basic information of PHP can you people help me from the start?
which is the best editor used for php?i have worked on dreamvewer for HTML so i am very much comfortable in that. and other option?

You can try and watch some video tutorials, because there are very good ones out there.

Dreamweaver is my first option.It is very simple to use.

and for more knowledge on php i would like to recommend "w3schools", hope it will help you

I am a SEO expert and also wanted to learn PHP I also tried to search lots of online sites but I decided to join a course at a computer center you have to do it also if you want to learn good.

If you want to learn professionaly please watch basic tutorials of web languages if you can under stand than start php.

Thanks to everyone i have started referring one on-line tutorial and it is amazing, and about the editor i also feel dreamviewer is the best and very user-friendly.

http://www.w3schools.com/php/ is better but it take much time to understand a simple language , i would prefer a tutor rather than w3schools
