Default Do you still use Stormpay?

Stormpay used to be a popular payment processor even if it used to collect transaction fees higher than the normal transaction rate. It is still in the payment processor business after it was linked with the autosurf 12DailyPro fiasco. Are there any web hosting providers offering Stormpay as payment option?

Didn't Stormpay also used to process transactions for gambling websites at one point? With the way the US government is cracking down on gambling payment processors I wouldn't keep any money in it if that was the case. If you had money in Neteller when they were hammered you would understand.

Stormpay used to be active in the traffic exchange industry (autosurf). One of its attractive feature is its debit card which you can use to withdraw your funds in any accredited ATM worldwide. I learned Stormpay is active in car racing.

Neteller also had a debit card to withdraw your funds, but at this point using any payment processor that has ever been associated with gambling sites is taking a huge risk. I do remember as a fact now that Stormpay did at one time process gambling transactions, so if you are going to use it don't keep any money in it.

I open my account once in a while. I'm trying to earn some funds thru its Stormclix program so that I can withdraw my remaining Stormpay funds in check.

Stormpay seems to be an auction site now. No matter what type of site it is though, I still wounldn't want to use it. Why does stormpay think they can fraud their users and then think they are going to get people to signup to their auction site. If Stormpay sold their domain and the new owners made the auction site, then I guess that gives another reason why you should always check the history of a domain name before you purchase it.

Stormpay's auction site is nothing new. I suspect that this is the only avenue where Stormpay users can use Stormpay funds. Nobody is using Stormpay anymore as it is in the verge of extinction.

I used it when i first started out as a webmaster. Although i eventually changed to egold and then paypal verified because of the original high transaction rates charged.

Wow. I just forgot about Stormpay, it was a famous payment processor, but now you should have Paypal accounts or E-gold.
Here is a hosting company where you still can pay via StormPay:
Atomic-Hosting.net

Thanks.

Many people on these forums say that e-gold is in some hot water over in the US, so e-gold is not really a processor that I would decide to have. If you have the option of being able to have PayPal or Moneybookers, I would choose either one of them before having to go with e-gold.

Thanks for all your interesting comments. Now I am stuck with my funds from Investplace, now dormant, in StormPay and no real way of getting them out. StormPay won't even let me open an account or register with them.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Surely there must be a regulatory body to crack down on these PP's who help themselves to members funds and get away with it with impunity. It is what the average man in the street would call theft, or plain straightout stealing.
