Default 2checkout

I recommend 2checkout for low-budget startup companies looking for merchant accounts. They have a low setup fee but the problem with them is that they take a good portion of your money each month. If you are certain that you will be in business a long time and have the money to invest, then these probably aren't your guys. But otherwise, it is a great start-up merchant company.

Does anyone know which company actually has the lowest fees on a recurring basis (monthly or per transaction)?

How much are the fees on 2checkout? I would assume that you could just go through Verotel directly for a payment processor, but I do believe you have to qualify through them (credit check, etc.). I always seem to see 2checkout on sites that are selling complete garbage and get rich quick books.

If you are talking of huge transactions, I suggest you have to apply for your own merchant account instead of tapping third party credit card payment gateway provider.
