Default Paypal E-Check

How long does it normally take from one of these E-Checks to clear. It's been almost a week and it's still "Uncleared".

AffiliateSeeking will become famous soon enough
I had never paid anyone using Paypal's e-check service until I needed to last month. It seems to clear once paypal receives the funds from the your bank account. So it is like depositing money from your bank account into paypal where it normally takes 5 - 9 working days. It's the same with e-check I guess as that is just the same procedure where it comes out of the bank and paypal will not clear the e-check until they receive the payment.

I have had several clients pay me with echecks and I usually have the money within a week max.

But just a note of caution, if you are accepting echeck for an auction or from someone you do not know, do not send the goods until the check is cleared. As long it is uncleared, you are not guaranteed your money.

Basically it uses the same concepts as cheques.Until the cheques is not cleared and the money is not into your account you cannot say that you had been paid.
You have to be careful in these situations.
