Default pricing model for selling advertising space

I'm starting an article/blogging website and want to sell advertising space for banner ads. At this time, we don't intend to use any ad networks, and advertisers can not set their own price. So what is a good pricing model for starting out? I'm looking for pricing for both PPC and CPM. Any recommendations or articles on this? Thanks.

It really depends on the size of the banners ads and the current value of your website. It always vary.

I understand Joe. That's why I was interested in a suggested minimum price for both PPC and CPM ads, just for starting out. The price is in US dollars by the way. Thanks.

Hi Joe.

I understand that there are several factors to consider such as ad size, placement, traffic, etc. So I'm asking for a suggested minimum price for both PPC and CPM ads (in US dollars), just for starting out. Thanks.

what kind of advertising space do you have? Are you using Advertising Banners for the ads?
