It really depends on your ad, but it's no better or worse than Google. One good thing is that once someone becomes your fan, their friends may see it and become fans too.

I have promoted my one dating website through it, but not received better results through facebook. I think tech product really work through facebook.

Facebook adwords is good for me, First day i got 20 visitors via facebook. I am happy

Its great. I have tried it and it was awesome. It display ads to only those profiles who has shown interest in products i am advertising or very similar to it. You must give it a shot too.

well take a break here.... if you want to learn what ppc is, you have to take its training. otherwise you can't done it because it need expertise to run ppc campaign.

Actually facebook paid marketing is for brand awareness because it is easy than google because if ur product is related to teenager or any housewife than u have the choice to show ads with matches their profile so through facebook u can get targeted traffic with least cost and when it comes ROI it less than google because google is a search engine and chances of conversion is more and facebook is a social networking site and grow ur brand through it and ROI comes automatic if people start knowing u !!!!!

I am thinking about running a few small tests to see if the traffic will convert with a good ROI, If you ahve ran any campaigns on LinkedIn i would be interested in your feedback

I have lot of experience on both.
I think PPC Gives instant and good results ( but you need very high converting product)

Facebook is for increasing your brand value. making sales for social media is very tough.

Its completely depended on your add and on your sellspage.
Their is no specific answer.
