Default indexed in MSN

I am finding it increasingly more difficult to get indexed in MSN in a reasonable amount of time. Google and Yahoo pick up my sites within 2 days yet MSN has become hopeless for me.

I have gone so far as to submit my site (which I never had to do in the past) and even then it takes weeks and sometimes a month or more for action.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Has something changed with MSN?

I honestly dont pay much attention to msn, since all my search engine traffic usually comes from yahoo or google. I dont know if it has to do with your problem but microsoft is updating msn and trying to integrate it with live.

But imagine this!. The number of valid back links as per MSN and Yahoo are multiple folds as that of Google. They may not give much weightage to the NOFollow thingie.

I love MSN traffic, as to me it seems MSN users are less internet savvy are are more likely to fall for a sales pitch on a site.

AffiliateSeeking will become famous soon enough
One thing I actually find with MSN is that it is generally more easier to rank well. I believe this is mainly because people try and rank in Google and then miss out on MSN. The main volumn of traffic uses Google and there is then far less that use MSN so some people don't bother with MSN as much as Google meaning that it can sometimes be easier for you to rank well in MSN, if you do some MSN seo obviously.

Well thats the case with me anyway, but even if you do rank well, you still don't really get a significant amount of traffic from each keyword or phrase compared to what you would get from Google because of the traffic differences in both of the search engines.

I have also seen this happen, also MSN index fewer pages from my site than Google or Yahoo. I guess this is one of the reasons why their search isn’t as good as google’s.

I think rather than MSN and yahoo, Alexa is a easy way to get your site on top,
You just need to install alexa toolbar, and thats it, go and search, alexa counts from people only those who have alexa toolbar installed.

MSN is the worst according to me. I have had a lot of problems in accesing stuff. i feel Yahoo is the best as far as traffic is concerned.

Are you sure? I have noticed that new sites are always appreciated more in MSN. Your post totally confused me. I have many friends who are indexed quickly and got some good position in SERPs.

I never use MSN to index my site(s).
Less then 1% of my visitors are generated from there.
Google's never let me down, so I guess I'll stick with it forever. Yahoo is good as well though not nearly as good as Google.

Vx.
