Default legal issue regarding domain name

What can you do when you ordered a domain name from a reseller of enom and he subsequently sells his business?

It seems the person to whom he sold the business has locked out the domain name owners. He has changed the passwords on the account and we cannot change the DNS or move the domain to another registrar.

For myself, I really do not want to change registrars - just push to my account. This happened the day he sold so I never got to push the domain.

When I tried to move the domain to my account, it asks for some kinds of keys. The guy does not answer emails or support tickets. This has been going on for months.

Where do you go in this situation - how do you get your domain back - luckily WHOIS has not been changed.

Get in touch with Enom and ICANN and file a complaint and ask them retrieve and transfer your domain.

Ps. Mind telling us which reseller is this?

At this point I would rather not say - BUT it is not part of the controversy surrounding registerfly.

It is a two bit operator - the guy who was the initial reseller obviously wanted a fast buck by selling and the guy that owns it now is either a crook or incompetent............

I would prefer to wait until I get my domain name before publicly saying who it is. The sad part is I trusted a regular member on another board. He had good itrader and then the day I got the domain, he was banned from the forum and the website where he did business was changed to a parking page.
