Default Anyone use Pre Paid Legal?

I see it advertised all the time and at one point I considered purchasing it for those times I want to consult a lawyer but don't want to pay the exorbitant fees. When I first saw it come out I thought it was a flash in the pan but it's been many years and it's still going strong. Does anyone here use it, and is it beneficial for business law or just criminal?

I signed up for it several years back, I think I paid $20/month. To this date, I don't ever remember using that service. To me it wasn't worth it, but I wouldn't be able to judge their service because I never used them.

Did it give you options for using a business attorney or is it strictly for criminal and civil defense? If you are able to occasionally consult with a tax or business attorney that would be helpful to me.

I think they did give you an option for a business attorney. What happens is if you need an attorney, you call their main number, they ask you about your situation, then they give a list of attorneys in their database. I never used one, but that was the explanation they gave me before I signed up.

Thumbs up I use to sell and use Prepaid Legal...

I am a former seller and customer of Prepaid Legal Services. I cannot say that I had a bad experience in either way. I was able to get legal advice when I wanted it. Unfortunately, I didnt use the service very much and sure enough, soon after we canceled the service to cut down on expenses, we had a legal problem and wish we had not canceled it. In fact, we have a legal problem right now that is pressing the life out of us.

Legal insurance is one of those things you hate to pay for, but it is such a relief when you have it and a legal situation comes up. A lot of companies offer it with their benefits packages. Also, the service does save you money if you have to hire an attorney but you will still need to be prepared to spend money. The main reason why I got the service was for unlimited legal consultations/questions answered. A limited number of free document reviews for contracts, etc. and for the free representation in traffic court. However, the plans may have changed since the last time I used the service 4 years ago.

As a seller of the service, I would have had much more success if I had more marketing skills at the time and if I didn't waste my money buying leads. I had a pretty large downline, but because they had the same problem of not being able to market effectively and losing money on leads, my downline quickly crumbled. PPL gives its reps decent info on offline marketing but no help at all with internet marketing, at least not 4 years ago. The key to building a downline in any mlm is to be able to generate your own leads and never buy leads. Offline marketing can only get you but so far and whether you spend money or not, it is almost imperative for any type of home business to effectively market online. Running any business in mlm or affiliate marketing without making use of the internet severely limits your profit potential.

Since then, I have learned how to proficiently generate my own leads for any niche. I can make money in any niche and profit from generating & selling leads to different companies. I am able to do this now because I attend an online university for internet marketing that is very inexpensive. I thank God because now my downline in Traverus is huge & my income from affiliate marketing is gradually growing from 3 to 4 figures per week. If I knew back then what I know now... my business with Prepaid Legal would have been great.

Now, I have so many charge-backs from customers who canceled their service that I would have to make a lot of sales before earning a profit with the company again.

A word of advice to PPL reps: Try to sell the memberships on an annual basis and not a monthly basis. Or elect to have your commissions paid in small monthly increments to avoid charge-backs. PPL pays a big upfront commission for monthly membership sales. If the customer cancels or is unhappy with their attorney, you are stuck with a charge-back against your future sales. It leads to feeling discouraged. Generate your own leads. It is cheaper in the long run to pay a small amount of money learning how to create your own leads online, than to buy leads and end up disappointed with little or no sales. DONT buy "legal leads"! They are a complete waste of time and money.

Well,

Just like insurance plans, members pay a fixed monthly subscriptions fee and in return they have access to a range of legal services on-call. The legal services might cover simple tasks such as reviewing of legal documents, writing a simple will as well as more complicated cases such as divorce, trials, real estate issues and bankruptcy.

Pre-Paid Legal doesn't just offer you an attorney, you have 24/7 access to an ENTIRE FIRM, which consist, of Tax Lawyers, Divorce Lawyers, Criminal Lawyers, Civil Lawyers, basically any lawyer you need. You also get Identity Theft Protection. It's an awesome deal. You don't have to get in trouble with the law to need to use it. You can simply have an issue with ANY BODY OR COMPANY, and the lawyers will rectify it for you!

"Exorbitant fees"? You can be a member for as little as $17 per month. A few months ago I was falsely accused of a crime, out of the blue. I had allowed my membership to lapse. What an idiot I was! Even though PPL doesn't give full coverage for non-job related criminal charges, they do give a 25% discount. I could have saved $675. I learned my lesson. You never know when you will need a lawyer and what for. Get the membership and keep it! It has so many uses, including will preparation and annual updating. (I'll be happy to sign you up! -- But, either way, get it! You need it.)

Default Value

If you say it wasn't worth it I can honestly say I don't believe you understand the service. Yes I market it so I can't be completely objective but if I quit the business tomorrow I'd keep the service for life. My wife and I have used it to many times to let it slide. The problem many people have and the reason they cancel is that they haven't used it. It's not that it couldn't have helped them in many ways it's that they're still equating attorneys to huge problems. The entire point of a life events legal service plan is that it can help things move smoother day to day so if I have a major issue or a minor question I call my law firm. It's paid for itself many times over because I understand how to use it.

Nope I have never heard of search service before? What purpose does it serve? It is similar or PayPal? And is it free to sign up?

As we as auto insurance companies are in business to make a profit. They will fight to pay as little as possible even on a legitimate claim. An Atlanta auto accident attorney who specializes in working with insurance companies will work to get a client everything he has coming to him. Many Atlanta auto accident attorneys have expertise in handling cases involving bicycles, motorcycles, boats and other vehicles.

Default prepaid legal

This is essentially just another type of insurance. I use one that is like an insurance policy. If you decide to buy the prepaid legal program, one last thing to keep in mind before doing it: Are there participating attorneys in your area? prepaid-legal-help-4u.com
