Everybody talks about a million dollars, and setting goals like that is great fun. But what about setting a goal of say only 1/2 million net? How many sales would be necessary, and what products or services are likely to do it?

It's been said that you need your own product, for sure. I've come up with a "service", or a product, depending upon how you look at it. But will it make a 1/2 million in net profits? It wasn't designed to do that, but it IS designed to give a few grand a month.

But back to making a million on the internet while I'm asleep or on vacation all from the comfort of my laptop. Please count me in, I'm interested!

What about trying to get to $100/month first? Thinking small can make your goals much easier to reach. Sure, everybody wants to make a million bucks, but few people believe they can do it.

That's why you can start small. Most would believe the can get to $100/month. Once you reach that goal– change to $500 and keep on growing.

I would agree with bowserbunin. It's always best to set small targets and work up slowly. Never think to big to quickly. Start from small and work your way up and you will get there in the end, that's if your final target is not to outrageous.

What do you mean by "EVERYTHING"?

Certainly someone has to design the sales letter(s), insure that the links work properly, and subsitute their words with the words and phrases found in guides like "10,000 Words & Phrases That Sell Like Crazy".

Don't forget the header graphics, even modifying one purchased in a lot. If one isn't that up-to-date on Photoshop then...

It's like wrestling, you try a lot of techniques until you learn a couple of things that bring you success most of the time. And that $100 is not an accurate figure, used only for example.

Can I ask how much do YOU earn in a good month, and in a bad month, and how long it took you to get to where you are now?

I can still remember my not-so-good old days where I only tied one technique. I was lucky to earn $100 after 6 hard months of struggling. With all of the tips and strategies I can find and read online, life has gotten better.

Sounds a lot like my Google adsense account. Everytime I look around, their ads are for hurricane donations, or worse yet deleted. But we keep going!

My advice is as follows...

Thinking big is a very good thing. In words of Jack Welch, one of the best management gurus ever seen, he says, the great challenge is to take actions lowterm and keep thinking and dreaming in for the long term.

In General Electric he wanted to transform all his buisness units in the leaders in every section. For that he established an amount of money people should generate per hour. Dont matter what you do, put clear, objective, measurable, with time limit goals.

Also, always remember, the famous rules to riches is help others first, and then you will become rich.

It is said that we can gain more "quality time" to enjoy life, by outsourcing most of our chores. So, I've "reinvested" all of the income earned to date back into the pockets of others.

To get to earning that 1/2 million dollars (Euros?) I've outsourced the design of my graphics. Those sending affiliate links to me often have nice selections of emails, blog messages, and various graphics for use in promoting their wares. So, it was easy to send one of those pages to the bidders as an example of what I need.

Next came locating some MLM software, and after reviewing the features of several of them, we've selected one that appears suitable. Clickbank won't allow us to sell anything costing $1,500 so we have to resort to "Plan-B".

Reading the sales pages of the MLM software we learn that we should offer (via a O-T-O) a payment plan to our prospects, so we've included one.

And somehow the idea came that we should convert one of our websites into a membership site. This we can do and put onto Clickbank quite easily.

But back to having "quality time" to enjoy life... We're now advertising and seeking an Affiliate Manager to help implement our plans.

I'd love to hear from someone who's "been there and done that", who has the T-Shirt to prove it!
