Freebies and Goodies Thread

I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to post links to free software relative to graphics and multimedia here. Picasa, GIMP, Paint.NET, etc. Perhaps it would be easier to just look for free download links in just one thread than to search several different ones. As I do not have 50 posts yet I cannot attach links in my posts. Maybe someone else would care to start it off?

Get SnagIt7 for free (a screen capture and editing software). All you have to do is register and they'll email you a software key.

You could maybe widen the subject out to include free graphics as well. I know there is quite a bit around although some of the quality maybe a bit flaky. I guess you get what you pay for.
