Well, at this point of time we can just speculate things... I am sure this is going to be a tough competition for facebook.
It seems Google is all set to beat major social networking websites because the project appears to have many interesting applications like, +circles, +spark, +hangout etc

Well Google is still working on that project and making new definitions and dimension with the ideas of the people. Hit will hit the social club with much success but what is important that will it be able to hold the people within it.

Yes Google+ is competitor of the Facebook, Google added many features into that and i think this is much better than Facebook. Now its totally depend on the Google that how they promote it and there are what they are offering to a user.
