Hi,

What is the relationship between Google Webmasters and Sitemap.xml?

Thanks

You are correct and that's the relation.

"Sitemap 0.90 is offered under the terms of the Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons License and has wide adoption, including support from Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft."
Sitemaps informs the search engines about the internal link structure of the site and the number of webpages ,thus assisting the SE to crawl or index all of the URLs.

This is absolutely right!
I do the same...
First create your Google Webmaster Account and add your website URL.
Verify your website by uploading the .html file or adding a meta tag that Google shows you there.
Then after your site gets verified, submit your XML Sitemap to Your Google Webmaster Account.
This helps in acknowledging Google about your XML Sitemap in a quicker way.
Secondly, Google Webmaster Accounts help you a lot in managing your website in a great way; either removing URLs; checking inlinks, crawling diagnostics, checking site-performance, etc.

Thats right.

With the help of Google webmaster tool we can submit our site to Sitemap.xml so that search engine can easily crawl on our site through Sitemap and indexed it as soon as possible.
