What to do if the site isn’t indexed?

After I checked my Google webmaster account, I found out that my site was not indexed by Google. The site map I submitted a few days ago somehow has not been approved too. I looked into my sites status and it shows that Google is still in the process of checking my site for approval. As far as I can remember, my site was already indexed by Google a few days ago. It had already been getting a good amount of traffic. But today, it shows that it hasn't been indexed yet. Can anyone help me figure out as to why this is happening?

Hmm, how old is your site? and what steps did you already made to let the search engine indexed your site? Anyways, just don't stop doing what you think is best then try all other options. Sooner or later you'll see improvements.

Seems sandbox, but I noticed this happens with other sites and the solution appeared in 2 to 3 weeks. There was no explanation, as the sandbox it will take much, much more than a few weeks.

I think that you do not have to worry about. Sooner or later Google will index your website. But you should keep going in your SEO activity and do not forget about its quality.

Seems like your website was punished by Google. Any blackhat SEO methods used? Long time no updating? Keywords changing? Host unstable?... Check your website first.

HI, Just submit your Sitemap to Google analytics and if possible try to put two site maps in your website i.e. XML sitemap and HTML sitemap.

you can submit your sitemap again in Google Webmaster and do social bookmarking at dofollow websites.
