I don't promote never wp blog, but i have a wp blog i am posting weekly 3-4 useful articles and doing wait for users by the help of social bookmarking.

There are a number of individual methods and combination methods that you can use to help promote your blog. Here's some of the things I do. They take a little work and I prefer to do it manually versus using software :

#1 - take your RSS feed and submit it to the top 25 RSS feed directories

#2 - Take the same RSS feed and submit it to RSS aggregator services like friendfeed, lifestream, profilatic, etc. This way each post you make also gets syndicated to each of these locations.

#3 - Open an account at the top 10 article directories (ezine, goarticles, searchwarp, etc.). Try to submit a unique article to each. nearly everyone of these article directories gives each author their own page with their own RSS feed. It may take some work to find it. Once located record the author RSS feed for each site and then submit it to the RSS aggregators referenced above. This method basically syndicates each article as well.

#4 - Open some web 2.0 properties (blogger, wordpress.com, zimbio, livejournal, etc.) and place spun or modified version of your original articles to these locations including links back to your main blog. Each of these properties has an RSS feed as well so record each of those in a spreadsheet and submit them to the RSS aggregators as well.

That should be a good start to getting some traffic to your blog.

Submit your log to blog directory which accept Wp domain blogs and some blog commenting plus forums will be good enough .

new post regularly is the best way , though other things also matters yet you should keep on posting new articles on your blog .
