Do brand new pages take time to rank well?

I already have plenty of pages on one of my sites that rank well. But I just added about 30 new pages, and I expected some of them to be on Google's first page for certain keywords. I know google likes age when it comes to sites, but what about individual pages that are new? If the site already ranks well as a whole, do you think it will take a few weeks or months for brand new pages to rank where they should rank? I have good long tail keywords in the titles for these pages, but see people with crappy keywords ranking better than mine.

Get the site out there and linked to as early as possible and plan to run an AdWords and/or Overture campaign for a few months until the site can be established in the editorial results.

Yes.. It will take some time for brand new pages to rank...thought your site has good rank.. just do your work properly it will helps you...

I thi k that you should promote your pages as well as you have promoted a site. They need at least some links. Of course it will take you some time to get page rank.

Google rank page..not site. So, it will take time for you to promote new page on your site. however, it will be okie soon.

It depends on your whole site's condition, if your site got enought PR and crawler comes to your website quickly, then don't worry, the new pages you added will get good ranking. If not, then you need to do some seo work.

HI, to get fast indexing of new pages you have to put quality content which should be related to niche of your website and it must be fresh.
