Hi all,

Howdy?

I have a blogger blog. Google was properly indexing my homepage URL. It also ranked well for a targeted keyword. I thought of submitting a sitemap to get my site crawled better. Once I did that, I observed that Google started indexing two of my post pages at the same time. My homepage dropped off the SERPS. My post pages were also impacted. I decided to remove my sitemap to set things normal. However, Google is still not indexing my homepage. I am getting really pissed off. What should I do in a scenario like this? Help!

Remove sitemap is not the solution but you should do off page submission and generate quality back links.

Analysis your site competitor check where you mistake. Google always weights good content, meta tag and backlinks..

After removed sitemap your blog still not indexing, am I wright?You should apply some off-page tactics like RSS submission of blog,blog directory submission etc..I hope you will get back your SERP!

social bookmarks will help you
have a 100 links on main and i think it'll be in index

hello dude, you should submit bookmarking, article and build links for making strong ranking and daily Google updating..because it you will remove site map then not solve your problem.

After removing the sitemap, your blog remain unindexed. You should practice off-page tactics such as RSS blog submission, blog directory submission and more. I am anticipating that you return your SERP.

Start link building for your blog and specially do social bookmarking it will help to crawl your site faster ..

you needs to put inner pages two click away from home page of your blog. And Do social bookmarking.....your problem will be solve surely..!

When you said "However, Google is still not indexing my homepage.", do you mean that your homepage didn't update indexing? Well, I would say it's normal for a new website, add some fresh contents will be helpful.

You should start building again some links.and on a worst case scenario.try to change your target keyword. That's just an opinion.

Removing site map is not a good idea. It is necessary for good ranking in search result. Unfortunately I do not know the solution of your problem. Try to find out the exact solution, without deleting site map.

Commence link building for your blog and particularly do social bookmarking it will help to creep your site quicker.
