Why do the results vary in different location?

My site is well ranked against its main keyword at www.google.com. But Google analytics shows that the hitting of these keywords is mainly from my homeland while from other countries hitting is too low. Is there any change in results that affiliate with locality or Does Google show different ranking position in different locations?

Can anyone have an idea about this?

Google have different data centers so it display different search results.
