Has anyone experianced your website to just vanish from the google search results because it has entered into google filter. My site used to rank 4th for a competitive keyword and one day when I searched that keyword, I found my site just vanished, I searched a few pages but wasn't there. I was so shocked and scared because this was one of the great traffic source for me. I then went to the last page till it goes and clicked on "Show all results including filtered ones". Now I saw my website back at 4th position. I got so freaked. I sent and email to google, via their form "Not happy with results". And then it got back fine within a day.
If your site has any adult material, you risk getting filtered.
Having said that, Google like any company of the same scale, do make occassional mistakes...
Scary! I recently had a page drop back about 30 places, not a filter issue, though I'm baffled as to what could have caused the drop. Moved from 2nd slot to page 4 in a day!
There may be many reasons for this, as sometime, the sitemap is not crawled by the google or may be their should be some duplicacy in the contents or the stuffing of keywords is more. so, this is important to check all factors.
Yeah, for some it sounds a bit risky, the only think we can do about that is being extremely attentive with the content, so as not to put yourself in such a terrible situation
GOOGLE has its own ranking factors.So if your site was at 4th rank and now it is not showing up den u shud optimize your site so that it satisfies google criteria.
There are several factors responsible for it. Either the site map is not crawled by the search engine or your website contains duplicate content. Keyword stuffing may be responsible for it.
