Default How long does google need to find new links to my page?

I discovered that it can take several weeks until google finds new links to your website or at least displays them in the webmastertools.
How long does is normally take and is it also dependent on the pr of the page where the link is coming from?

I think it depends how hard you work to create links. If you do it regularly, then Google will index your links quicker.

Google will index quicker if the site where your links are is a popular page or website. Google tries to crawl the most popular pages more often so if you are placing links on poor sites then you will find links added more slowly. If you check in webmaster tools you will only see a percentage of links to your site. Google doesn't display the full list of links, neither does Yahoo - Yahoo shows more though.

It depends on many factors. The only factor that is important to you is that you have to get new incoming links in a normal way. If google thinks that you get too many links fast then it wont count those links for a long time.

In general new links are discovered in 1-2 days

Every page will have a crawl frequency set by Google depending upon the updating interval of that particular page. You better update the XML sitemap and resubmit it to your webmaster tools. This may help your page to be indexed with the updated content quicker.

Google take less time to link the website if the website is popular and if the website is not so popular, then it takes some time.

Google search engine will index faster if the site where your links are is a widely held page or web based site. Try to remember this always as a webmaster.
