How to De-Personalize Google?

Just over a week ago, Google launched a massive change to search personalization, Search Plus Your World. Along with this change came a new toggle switch to shut off personalization.

I actually started with 6 ways to de-personalize, but ended up excluding two of them for the final test (more on that below). The original 6 were:

De-personalization toggle
“pws=0” parameter
Signing out
Signing out + “pws=0”
Incognito (Chrome)
Incognito (IronKey)*

To switch off personalization . Log off from Google account. Search a term and add

&pws=0

at the end in the url to see seach results without personalization.
