Very Strange Problem (Gtalk)

Friends plz guide me I have very strange problem. My gmail is working fine but when I login to gtalk messenger it says wrong password…. And when I forget password it recover my gmail password but not google talk password…. I have reinstall gtalk many times but still not logging in.... plz plz tel me what to do now..... i want to use same password for both gmail and gtalk....

yes i have done and you know problem is start right after i did 2 step verification....... please tell me i think you know the solution...

ok then you need to add G talk in verified tols list in your gmail account ; gmail will generate a tough password , that you need not to remember ; you just need to put this password once in g talk after that your google account . there is step by step help is available in google help topic .

by the way you will face same problem with all desktop application that use google id password line outlook and all of them have the same solution .

very difficult task....but if it is sure that no more problem with my gmail or other google service occurred... anyways thanks for the help.....

at the time when you started this 2 step verification ,you must have recived an email ; that mail have some links please visit that links .

oh dear..thank you very much

i just turned off two steps verification and my password was automatically rest to default... now i can access my gmail and talk with the same password..... Thank GOD.....and thank you too....

Have you added Gtalk as verified tool in your accounts settings. If not add it. Some times these kind of issues are created by anti virus too.But I doubt this in your case as you get password is wrong notification. Which anti-virus do you use. Check your firewall settings too,
