Quality content is also an important factor in keyword ranking. The content in that page might be relevant and quality for the user's query.

There are few things which matter even some times there are no backlinks.
1-Age of the domain
2-Unique content is king of SEO
3-Regualr changes and submissions to different search engines

Backlinks are not the only factor that boosts ranking. There are more than 200+ factors Google takes into account while ranking. Sites that rank high either have great content or they are involved in some manipulative ways.
If you have a good social media reputation, it can help boost your organic rankings (Social buzz is prime ranking factor)

PPC has no impact on organic rankings. There is no confirmed case where PPC has boosted organic rankings. PPC is inorganic (paid) and is only used to increase ROI.
