Is Google Page Rank [PR] Dead ?

recently i have been checking that almost all the PR Checker tools are broken and a lot of buzz is going around that google is killing the concept of PR. What's your take ?

You can use google's PR tool by using a firefox add-ons "search status 1.38".

I just tried to install the add-on "search status 1.38" but it did not work! After installing, I did not see any thing showing up!

It is impossible that Google will kill the page rank as the whole system is going to be destroyed in general.

No Google PR is not dead it is exist.

Google page rank concept is not dead, but the page rank is not considered as an important factor as it was once. If you want to check page rank of a page, you can install seobook tool bar to your fire fox which shows the page rank of a page.
