Work on on-page optimization of your site and make sure that you have a quality and interactive content on your site. After that, start quality linkbuilding on high PR forums and you can post some articles on web 2.0 and do social bookmarking. It cannot be done in days though.

I think you have to get rank over the search engine website. These could help you to get more visitor to the website. Try to target that keyword which have more global searches and less competitors. For that purpose you have to do forum posting, blog comment, social bookmarking, directory submission and article submission.
