How to place a site in search engine?

I had written one blog on SEO topics and I want it place it in google search engine. How should I do it?

At first: is this the right forum sector to post this thread?

To get pages indexed, you have to upload your XML Sitemap via Google Webmasters Tools.

Is this what you wanted to know?

There is no need of any tool, the blog will indexed automatically after 3 days. If this doesn't happen then you can submit the blog in the blog directories like bloggernity.com etc.

You can create one wordpress blog and post it into this blog and do some seo for this blog then it will autometically crawled by google.
