Default arbitrage and adsense

I really don't quite understand this whole issue lately of terminating adsense accounts using arbitrage. I mean if that is not a legit or preferred business model, I understand. If the traffic is junk or not targetted, fine.

But what about the millions of site owners who legitmately buy advertising through adwords and happen to have adsense and an affiliate program on their site? How does this affect their earnings and their account?

EDIT - sorry about this - I meant this post to be in PPC - google

I think the problem is the other advertisers that are using Adwords and are on that same page are not getting true clicks or true value for the keywords they are paying for. I personally think it was a shady practice and I'm glad they are no longer allowing it.

Arbitrage and google banning people has been blown out of proportion in my opinion, Googl makes money from arbitrage and the only people that Ive heard get even a notice are people who were using 100% mfa, zero content pages. The real deal with arbitrage is google is trying to use google analytics with adwords so they can keep track of conversions. The worst that could happen because of this is you get paid less if your site doesnt convert well for advertisers.

So basically if you have a site that is content rich and you have added some google ads and some affiliate programs, you can still buy advertising through adwords without jeopardizing your account then.

Adwords is still a viable option for advertising?

This just cleans up all of the garbage "made for adsense" type sites that are littering the internet these days. I think adsense is a great tool but if you are just churning out sites with garbage on them, filling them up with adsense ads and then buying up adwords to direct traffic there you are driving up the adwords price for people that are actually putting out a good product.

The application of MFA or otherwise known as Made for Adsense (MFA) is not healthy because this is some sort of a deception requiring visitors to click on Google Adsense ads before they can proceed to the actual site.

Thing is you can easily put arbi into a start without fearing a ban by advertising your ads on different networks, not with adwords. That way you'll get people coming from different websites and click on your ads, and google has no idea that this is arbi.

Its a great that Google pulled the strings. MFA sites and keyword hawkers should be penalized.
