Phone Text Marketing.

What is your take on phone text marketing. I was approached by a guy that wanted me to sign up with some Network Marketing thing. I don't think I would like people texting me with offers all the time. Maybe if I opted in to their program. What do you guys think?

And no, I am not trying to get you guys to buy in. LOL. No program name and no links to it. Just wondering your take on it.

It is called as Mobile Marketing. Some people may have interested there, but most of guys will not prefer this.

Actually, it is started by the Mobile Operators to advertise about their own offers. But now a days it has become a marketing strategy for the other businesses also.

Honestly I think that phone text amrketing or mobile marketing is rather annoying type of marketing in general. And if I'm not mistaken according to stats mobile marketing is effective tool, but its effectiveness has local and not long character.
