What do affiliate resources lack?

I am planning to start an all around affiliate resource website that will contain a directory of affiliate programs as well as informational articles and news on the industry. To enhance the site, I wanted to get some consumer feedback. What do you feel could be done to improve the existing affiliate resources out there? What do you feel they are lacking?

We will definitely help you in this regard.

affiliateprograms.com is having less traffic in these days. but the organizing is good at that forum.

Affiliate marketing is more applicable to product based industries.

I have never tried affiliate marketing myself, but I feel that it could be helpful
